Function: Oxfendazole, the sulfoxide form of fenbendazole, is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic used against roundworms, strongyles and pinworms for sheep, cattle, goats, and swine. It is a white to grey powder; insoluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone, chloroform, ether and methanol. Its chemical designation is [5-(phenylsulfinyl)-1H- benzimidazol-2-yl] carbamic acid methyl ester.}
 

^{Oxfendazole, the sulfoxide form of fenbendazole, is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic. Oxfendazole acts by destroying the microtubular structure in the intestinal epithelium of helminths thus inhibiting the uptake of glycogen from the intestine of the parasite.}

For all kinds of gastrointestinal nematode adults of sheep, cattle and pigs, the worm reduction rate is 95-100% at 23.5-5mg/kg dose. The reduction rate for each stage larva was 91-98%. Also effective on Hymenolepis nana and Dictyocaulus, but the effect of poor pig whipworm. This product has low toxicity and good tolerance. The rat LD50 is more than 6400mg/kg.}
