Function and Use:
Sodium succinate is an anti allergic drug that has good preventive and therapeutic effects on acute allergic reactions. By inhibiting intracellular phosphodiesterase, it increases the concentration of intracellular adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), prevents calcium ion transport into mast cells, stabilizes the cell membrane of mast cells, and inhibits and prevents the release of allergic mediators such as histamine, serotonin, leukotrienes, and chronic response mediators, thus producing pharmacological effects.
